Flash animations are fun, though Lizzard is a very rough beginner. The fact that she lacks art skills limits what she's been willing to try in Flash, but here are some animations that she's made over the years.

Lizzard made this one to act as a place holder when she first started designing animations for her web site. Since her animations tend to be seasonal, the animation was often referencing a past holiday before she'd complete the next one, so this would be used as a filler.

Lizzard made this animation when she and Stamps were buying their house. She just couldn't contain her excitement and had to find some way of expressing it to the world. Several years later, she still loves this house.

Obviously, this animation is for the New Year. Nice and simple.

With someone as wonderful as Stamps in her life, Valentine's Day took on a whole new meaning. Surely such a nice day needs an animation. :-)

Groundhog's day.

This is one of the first animations that Lizzard created. She was particularly proud of herself for drawing the rainbow and pot of gold well enough that they were recognizable. She really can't draw so doing that from scratch was a thriller.

This animation is for the break between mid-April and mid-May when the flowers are starting to bloom in Portland. The roses shown are home grown by Stamps.  

This is obviously for Mother's Day. Lizzard made it one year to try and capture a small portion of what her mom has done for her over the years and express appreciation. Yes, she realizes an animation pales in comparison to all that Lizzard's mom has done, but it's at least something to publicly acknowledge appreciation.

This animation was inspired by Lizzard's joining a recreational softball league with some co-workers. The team name is "Fireballs", which is referenced in the animation. She could have tried to do fancier things with the ball in the animation (make it rotate when hit, etc) but so far hasn't really wanted to worry about it. This animation tends to be featured on the main page in the summer during softball season.

Lizzard made this while she was NOT enjoying the heat of the summer. "AC the snowman" is a creature of her own creating, no doubt from wishing she had an air conditioner. She now has a portable one but this animation is still pretty fun to watch.

This is the animation that tends to run during most of BYU's football season. Lizzard has thought about updating it or making a new one showing highlights of past years but she hasn't gotten around to doing it yet. For now, this does a great job of showing her loyalty to the Cougars.

Christmas is Lizzard's favorite holiday.

Lizzard loves the snow. Hopefully this looks like snowballs being thrown against something solid.
